MEMPHIS – Buying or selling a
home has just gotten easier with the
introduction of the revised and reformatted
“Mid-South Residential Review” TV show on
Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. on WLMT-UPN 30.
Home Concepts, a local home design center,
purchased the TV show to provide a larger
and more cost-effective venue for homebuyers
and sellers. Phil Chamberlain, the managing
partner for Home Concepts, had the vision of
making the show a valuable tool for a
broader audience of consumers. After buying
the four-year-old show, changes were made in
the format to make it viewer-savvy with more
conversation and in-depth focus on home
details.
The show’s new host is Jessica Chamberlain who
is also the marketing manager of Home
Concepts, and the producer is Trina Getske.
About 50 homes are featured on the show
every week with more than 100 homes
presented on the show’s Web site. TV and the
Internet have become two of the strongest
and most widely used avenues for real estate
sales, says Chamberlain, and the show serves as
a way to complement the total marketing
package. “We thought that we could create a
better show and personalize it so that
people would sit down and watch from the
comfort of their home,” explains Getske.
The overall mission of the show is to
promote awareness of residential homes for
sale in the Greater Memphis area. Viewers
include homebuyers and sellers or people
just shopping for ideas. Getske envisions a
typical viewer as someone who has limited
time to house hunt and many diverse needs.
Advertisers are Chamberlain & McCreery,
Inc., Curtis Carpet Company, Custom Fence
Company of Collierville, McWaters &
Associates Realtors, Oxford Company and
RE/MAX at Mallard Creek. The 30-second ads
run during the program with a credit at the
end of the program and coverage on the
show’s Web site at
www.msresidentialreview.com. The
site is updated every week with information
on new homes that are featured on that
week’s show.
Home Concepts offers one stop shopping for
all the products needed to build or remodel
a home. A professional interior decorator is
on call to assist with the custom selection.
Home Concepts is a division of Chamberlain &
McCreery, the fourth largest residential
builder in Memphis. In addition, the company
constructs about $25 million in commercial
real estate property each year. Home
Concepts center is located at 8195 Dexter
Road in Cordova.
