Chamberlain-McCreery’s Lexington plan offers liveability Liveability.

It’s what architects strive to design into a home. It’s what families look for in a home. And it’s what Chamberlain-McCreery has built into The Lexington, available at Madison Woods development in Bartlett.
“This floorplan is very family oriented,” said Tim Wilson, chief financial officer for Chamberlain-McCreery Homes. “This is a house a family can live in. All the space is utilized to make the rooms bigger versus chopping the space up into a lot of little-bitty rooms like some houses do. That’s why it’s liveable.”

Space is one component that makes this design such a great home for a family. The Lexington provides over 3,000 square feet of heated space in a two-story, all brick floorplan that includes a great room plus a hearth room where families can spend quality time.

“It’s huge,” Wilson said, referring to the living space designed into The Lexington. “With a master suite that measures over 34 feet in length and three large bedrooms upstairs, it should serve the needs of an average family today and for many years to come.”

The master suite, conveniently located downstairs, features a large walk-in closet, a master bathroom with a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub plus separate vanities with cultured marble countertops.

Also on the ground floor, The Lexington offers a two-story entry with a plant ledge and stairway, a formal dining room, utility room, guest powder room and a 16 x 16 hearth room with a distinctive yet cozy corner fireplace.
Upstairs is where you’ll find the remaining three bedrooms, each with plenty of closet space, and two full bathrooms. One bath with access off the hallway that can be shared between the two good-sized bedrooms and another private bath – just off the largest bedroom that measures over 220 square feet.

“Given that amount of space and its own private bathroom,” Wilson said, “this room could be utilized as a mother-in-law suite or as a quiet home office.”

Also found upstairs is a large, optional area that measures 13 x 18 that can be finished as a future playroom or an over-sized bedroom with additional space left over that can be used for a large, walk-in closet.

“That’s one of the great things about the way Chamberlain-McCreery builds a home,” Wilson said. “We’re semi-custom. We’ll take a stock floor plan and customize it and move the walls around on the inside to basically make it anything you want it to be. And we’re really good at doing that.

“If you have an idea of what you want, upstairs or downstairs either way, we can usually move things around to make it happen,” Wilson said. “We want to provide a family with the property they want and that they can be happy with. Like our motto says, ‘we build with you in mind.’”
